Advanced Higher Physics

This course comprises 4 sections. The first section covers kinematic relationships, angular motion and momentum, rotational dynamics, gravitation, stellar physics, general relativity and space-time. The second section covers an introduction to quantum theory, wave particle duality, magnetic fields and particles from space, simple harmonic motion, waves, interference, division of amplitude, division of wavefront and polarisation. The third section covers electric field and force, electric potential, motion in an electric field, magnetic fields, capacitors, inductors and electromagnetic radiation. The fourth section covers investigations in Physics including initial planning, using equipment, recording, measuring and presenting data, evaluating findings and the scientific report.
